Eat: Essential Vitamins!

Vitamins are obtained from food, except for vitamin D and vitamin K, which your body can synthesize. Your body needs a total of 13 vitamins: vitamins A, C, D, E, K and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid and biotin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folacin). In addition, vitamin A (found in animal sources such as eggs and meat) is present in the form of a precursor, beta carotene, when manufactured by plants. On top of getting your nutrients from food sources, multi-vitamin products available on the market can supplement your usual meals.
