Is Your Asthma Really Under Control?

Asthma affects an average of one in five children and one in 20 adults in Singapore, according to the Ministry of Health. Even though clinical practice guidelines recommend preventive treatment for all patients with persistent asthma, less than 15 per cent of patients here are actually taking long-term preventive medication.
