Vitamin Food Sources

Did you know there are three different types of vitamins?

1) Water-soluble vitamins – These need to be replenished every day as they are not stored in the body.

2) Fat-soluble vitamins – Though rare, these can be toxic when there is a great excess of them in the body as they are stored in the body.

3) Pseudovitamins – This is a recently recognised class of vitamins. Although pseudovitamins are not classified as true vitamins, they have vitamin-like properties, and all are water-soluble.
