When’s Your Next Checkup?

Many men avoid going to the doctor. But with a life expectancy that is six years lesser than women and higher death rates for each of the ten leading causes of death, men have all the more reasons to go for regular health screenings.

There are thousand and one reasons why men do not feel comfortable talking about their health concerns, and they usually put off seeing a doctor until their panic strikes when they spot signs of a conspicuous health problem. The most obvious reason why men don't see the doctor as often as women do is because they believe "If it's not broken, don't fix it.
