Mammogram screening – key to fighting breast cancer

It is sad to note that many people are afraid of facing up to breast cancer because they think it is incurable. Detecting it early through self-examination or mammogram may well mean a cure for the cancer.

 Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in Singapore. The number of cases on breast cancer has more than doubled over the last 30 years. Every year, about 200 to 300 women die from the disease.
