Trash Those Negative Thoughts!

In the attempt to balance domestic and career fronts, and to find solutions to everyday problems, many women fall into the trap of negative emotions that often hinders their ability to lead a fulfilled and satisfying life.

Depression has been ranked by the World Health Organization recently as the leading cause of morbidity in developing nations in the next century. Women especially, are approximately two times more susceptible than men to suffer from major depression and dysthymia, according to the Research Agenda for Psychosocial and Behavioral Factors in Women's Health, 1996. Depression has also been called the most significant mental health risk for women, particularly for younger women of childrearing age.
