Lingzhi longevity – fact or just an old wives tale

Lingzhi is a member of the Ganoderma lucidum mushroom family. It is also known as Reishi or Mannentake in Japan. There is nothing godly about its nondescript looks but why then was it called God’s Herb or The Wonder Herb by ancient Chinese physicians?
